Arrival and departure
For a pleasant journey to and from Lechquell Hotel Post
Check-out is by 11.00. This gives us enough time to prepare the rooms for the next guests.
Early check-in is available on request, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance so that we can check whether your preferred room is ready earlier. This service is subject to a charge.
A late check-out without a room is available at any time. For € 19.00 per person, you can enjoy the spa area and afternoon snack after the regular check-out.
Late check-out with continued use of your room is available on request, subject to availability. Please contact us at short notice so that we can accommodate your request. The price is € 29.00 per person
Yes, dogs are very welcome in selected rooms. The fee is € 23.00 per day and dog. Please note that food is not included and dogs may only accompany you in the room and in selected areas of the restaurant. They are not permitted on the hotel grounds, sunbathing lawn or around the pool.
Fluffy bathrobes are included for all guests and are already waiting for you in your room. For economic reasons, we kindly ask you to bring your own pool slippers where possible. If required, you can obtain a pair from reception.
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance with Europäische Reiseversicherung. This ensures you are financially protected in the event of an unforeseen cancellation.
You are welcome to leave your luggage with us at any time – both before check-in and after check-out. This means you can enjoy your arrival or departure day without a care.

Yes, the entire Panorama Spa on the third floor is exclusively accessible to adults aged 16 and over.
Yes, the entire wellness area on the ground floor, with outdoor and indoor pools as well as a toddlers’ pool, a textile sauna up to 50° and lounging areas, can be used by families.
Our indoor pool is heated to around 30 °C – ideal for swimming and relaxing.
The outdoor pool is also heated to approximately 30 °C. The exact temperature may vary slightly depending on the outside temperature.
The children's pool is heated to approx. 30 °C, so even our youngest guests can enjoy the water.
Yes, the outdoor pool is heated all year round.
The adults-only Panorama Spa features an outdoor Lechtal mountain hut sauna at 90°C, a Swiss stone pine bio sauna at 60°C, a herbal steam bath at 45°C, a salt sauna at 70°C, (the brine-scented steam bath is now the herbal steam bath, as there is a salt sauna) at 45°C, an outdoor whirlpool at 36°C and a panoramic relaxation room with views of the mountains.
The swimming pool is open daily from 08.00 to 20.00 in summer, and in winter from 07.30 – 09.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00. The children's pool is open from 12.00 to 20.00
The family sauna is open daily from 12.00 to 20.00. During this time, parents can enjoy the soothing warmth together with their children.
The adults-only Panorama Spa is open daily from 12.00 to 20.00. Here, adults can relax in a peaceful atmosphere.
Massages and spa treatments can be booked conveniently via our website or directly at reception. We recommend booking well in advance.
Bath and sauna towels are available for you to use in the wellness area, so there is no need to bring your own.
Our fitness room is open daily from 07.00 to 22.00. It features modern equipment for your individual workout.

Guided hikes take place regularly, offering you the chance to discover the impressive mountain landscapes of the Rofan and Karwendel ranges. The tours are seasonal and dependent on the weather.
E-mountain bikes are available to our guests for a fee of € 45.00 per day. Please note that numbers are limited and they are allocated subject to availability.
We work in partnership with Arlberg Snowsports Ski School, Warth.
There is a ski hire shop directly on site in Steeg and another at the valley station in Warth.
Yes, a partner in the Arlberg ski area offers heli-skiing. We will be delighted to arrange this experience for you.
Tobogganing opportunities are available and provide fun for the whole family. Every week, a ski school in Steeg offers an evening toboggan shuttle – subject to weather conditions.
Even on rainy days or in bad weather, you’ll never be bored: visit various museums, schnapps distilleries and much more.
Horse riding
For young and old
Guided horse riding is available from the age of 3 – riding lessons from the age of 6 – although it always depends on the child. Our experienced team ensures that every child feels safe.
The riding stable is just 150 metres from the hotel entrance and can be reached easily on foot.
We provide riding helmets free of charge. Your children's safety is close to our hearts.
Yes, you can enjoy horse riding all year round. Rides take place depending on the weather.

Yes, Lechquell Hotel Post has its own fishing waters. 4km directly along the Lech. Fishing is possible in easily accessible stretches of the Lech as well as in breathtaking gorges.

Lechtal Nature Park
The hotel is located in one of Austria’s most unspoilt nature parks
The Naturpark Tiroler Lech lies in the Lechtal valley in Tirol and is characterised by the untamed Lech river, alpine mountain landscapes, species-rich riparian forests and an exceptional variety of flora and fauna. The region is one of Tirol’s most unspoilt natural landscapes.
The centrepiece of the region is the Lech – one of the last great wild rivers in Europe. Its natural river landscape provides a habitat for numerous rare species of animals and plants, making the Lechtal a truly special natural experience.
Yes. The Lechtal offers hikes for a range of abilities – from leisurely walks along the Lech to mountain and mountain-hut tours in the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps. Around 50 mountain huts and alpine pastures invite you to stop for refreshments along the way.
Lechweg is a long-distance hiking trail covering around 125 kilometres, leading from Formarinsee near Lech am Arlberg through the Tiroler Lechtal valley to the Lechfall waterfall near Füssen. The trail can be completed in several stages and has been awarded the distinction „Leading Quality Trail - Best of Europe“.
Special nature experiences include the wild River Lech, the Martinauer Au with its lady's slipper orchids, numerous waterfalls, mountain scenery, themed trails and nature park experiences. The Nature Park House at Klimmbrücke is also a rewarding excursion destination.
The lady’s-slipper orchid blooms in the Martinauer Au mainly in early summer. A visit is particularly recommended from around mid-May to mid-June. The protected plants must not be picked, and visitors must not leave the marked paths.
Alongside hiking and mountaineering, the region offers opportunities for cycling, mountain biking, e-biking, climbing and observing nature. In winter, horse riding, cross-country skiing, winter hiking and skiing are also available.
Many hiking trails and excursion destinations can be enjoyed with your dog. In protected areas and along the Lech, however, particular consideration must be given to the sensitive flora and fauna. Dogs should be kept on a lead in accordance with local regulations.
The nature park is appealing at any time of year. Spring and early summer delight visitors with blossoming meadows, lady’s slipper orchids and alpine roses. Summer is perfect for hikes and mountain tours, while autumn brings clear mountain air and intense colours. In winter, the Lechtal transforms into a peaceful landscape for winter walks, cross-country skiing and winter sports.

Yes, there is an underground car park. For guests staying in the Suite Post Imperial room category, an underground parking space is included in the price. Our cancellation policy is tiered according to the time of cancellation:
- No cancellation fees apply up to 3 months before arrival
- For cancellations between 60 and 30 days before the arrival date, an administration fee of € 50,- will be retained.
- For cancellations between 30 and 14 days before arrival, we charge 50 % of the booked arrangement
- For cancellations less than 14 days before arrival, late arrival, early departure or non-arrival, we charge 90 % of the booked arrangement.
We accept various payment methods for your convenience: cash, debit card, Mastercard, Visa and bank transfer.
Of course, the total bill can be settled at check-out. During your stay, all services can conveniently be added to your room bill.
