Climbing in the Lechtal & at Arlberg

The Allgäu and Lechtal Alps, as well as the Arlberg region, offer plenty of opportunities for climbing.

Via ferratas in the Lechtal: the Simswasserfall adventure via ferrata in Holzgau and the climbing garden in Lechleiten. There are also via ferratas at nearby Arlberg: the Karhorn via ferrata at Warthorn-Sattel in Warth and the Arlberg via ferrata in St. Anton.
Bergschule Lechtal offers guided tours such as alpine climbing to Holzgauer Wetterspitze, a base camp for sport climbing and children’s climbing courses
Lechtal Guiding offers weekly taster courses in climbing and via ferrata climbing - available at a reduced rate with the Lechtal ActivCard
At the Abenteuerpark Schröcken at Arlberg, there is a high ropes course with 42 rope courses and via ferratas for climbing at heights of 3 - 15 m. For the adventurous, there is also a Flying Fox or Zip Line at heights of 20 - 90 metres, as well as a Mega Swing from one bank to the other. For adults and children aged 6 and over.

Your paraglider lies spread out on the mountain and is secured to your body. Just a few steps downhill, then the canopy opens and the thermals carry you up into the air, where you glide above Lechtal Nature Park. A bird's-eye perspective. Summer toboggan run „Wally Blitz“ in Elbigenalp with 25 bends, a steep bend and a tunnel. The summer toboggan run reaches speeds of up to 40 km/h.
Segway riding in Lechtal. Control the Segway with your body movements. Hotel Post has 3 Segways available to hire for a fee.
Take on the 200 m-long pedestrian suspension bridge over the Höhenbach gorge, the highest freely accessible suspension bridge in Austria.
