Our favourite trails in Lechtal

Postalm & Bockbachtal

A particularly beautiful hike leads up to the Postalm in Bockbachtal. The Krabach Gorge and the historic settlement of Birchetsgump make this hike a varied experience in nature.

Walking time: approx. 45-90 minutes - depending on the starting point.

Bockbachtal & Birchetsgumpersee

From Steeg, the trail leads through Bockbachtal to Birchetsgumpersee and on to the Bockbachalpe mountain pasture or the Gamsvroni snack station.

Walking time: approx. 2 hours.

Holzgau suspension bridge

A classic for families is the hike from Holzgau via Gföll to the 200-metre-long suspension bridge.

Walking time: approx. 2 hours.

Lechtal Panorama Trail

From the top station of the Jöchelspitzbahn cable car, the panoramic trail follows the botanical educational trail to Lachenkopf and continues towards Rothornjoch and Mutte, all the way to Bernhardseckhütte mountain hut.

Walking time: approx. 3 hours to Bernhardseckhütte mountain hut.

Pimig - Steeg's local mountain

Experienced mountain hikers can look forward to the challenging ascent of Pimig, at 2,406 metres.

Walking time: approx. 7 hours.

The hiking bus takes you through Lechtal free of charge, connecting Steeg with Reutte, Lech and various side valleys. In addition, mountain lift rides are included on the participating lifts.
