It stands proudly on the Birchetsgump rise in the Bockbach Valley: the Postalm near Steeg. In winter it is surrounded by a sea of snow. Then innkeeper Norbert is looking forward to your visit and invites you to enjoy the special ambiance.
When it gets dark and the stars are countless in the sky, it seems even more magical up here – experience it for yourself at special Postalm events.
From spring to autumn, when nature shines in vibrant colors again instead of snow-white, the Postalm can be reserved exclusively for celebrations and seminars. Then admire the unmistakable panorama of the majestic Biberkopf and the striking Ellenbogenspitze with your guests.
The Lechquell Hotel Post also organizes special gourmet events on the idyllic Postalm during the summer months.

Getting here
Drive from Steeg in the direction of Warth and park at the Bockbachtal turnoff. From there you can reach the Postalm at Birchetsgump on foot in about 30 - 40 minutes.
A hotel shuttle is offered for guests of events.

Every Friday and Saturday we offer the alpine breakfast from 9:00 a.m. (reservation required)

On Tuesdays in summer off-season, it smells like homemade Käsespätzle (traditional cheese noodles) at noon in the Postalm. Visit us.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the rustic cabin breakfast takes place with a selection of regional delicacies. Egg dishes are prepared on the wood-burning stove.
€29 incl. an alcoholic drink – incl. for hotel guests instead of breakfast at the hotel.

Winter at the Postalm cabin bei Steeg
In winter, you can enjoy regional delicacies in the Postalm mountain hut with a fantastic view of the wintry Tyrolean Lechtal.
In addition, every Wednesday and Thursday we offer a fondue evening with entertainment by the Postalm Duo at the Postalm. Always in conjunction with a torchlight hike from the Bockbach parking lot at 6:15 pm.
We kindly ask for a reservation by 6:00 pm on the day before.
